Re: D-tap voltage

Hawk-Woods makes adaptors that are regulated.  They have a plate that provides 4 D-tap sockets regulated to 12V.  They also make cables with in-line modules to regulate voltage to 12 v.  It's possible that these will down-regulate from 16.5 to 12 v, but perhaps not up-regulate from 7 to 12 (?), but you can talk to them.

I believe D-Tap ("P-Tap") is unregulated and the spec allows from 7.2 to 16.8 volts.

Hope everyone is ok and safe,

I am comparing the on-board 12v batteries specs. The D-tap conexion states de Amps but never seems to specify the exact voltaje. I´m wondering, do D-Taps provide always regulated 12v because that defines the standard or do they provide what voltage the battery state is. Same for the D-taps in on-board battery plates and so on.
