Sachtler Flowtech Tripod design

Hi guys,

I need some suggestions from you regarding tripods.

Do you know if there’s any tripod out there like the Flowtech by Sachtler (with the clips to unlock the legs at the top) but with a flathead?

would love to get the flowtech but that will force me to use an adaptor for the flat slider, increasing the camera height level and making things less immediate for run&gun shoots.

Do you know any solution or different approaches I could go for?
thanks!

You can just buy a half ball adapter to give you a flat head if you want to go that route. like these:
or

Though for a slider loadout I'd want at least mitchell sticks or at least a 100mm sticks like the Satchler speedlocks as 75mm ball is (in my opinion) not stable enough for any kind of good sliderwork.

Then again maybe I'm just a curmudgeon because I refuse to use a slider without support at either end if it's resting on anything less than a mitchell mount.
