Has 'Reply To' been changed or been deleted from the headers?

Bob Kertesz

There's something unusual going on with message headers here. Perhaps
it's just me.

Until today, my hitting 'reply' on a message sent a reply to the group.

Today, hitting 'reply' fills in the email of the original sender in the
"To:" field, not the group.

Looking through the headers, the "Reply To:" field seems to be missing
on messages I received, making the default reply go to the 'From:" in
the header, which is the poster, not the group.

This is with the Thunderbird mail client, version 52.5, which hasn't had
an update or change in many weeks.

Anyone else seeing this, or is there something messed up here?

Noticed that great “highlight” and reply suddenly is not working.
Hope I am not over loading CML.
Anyway. Time to be a lurker.
Sometimes it’s better so.

Merry a Christmas.
Still digital stuff @finland.

I’ve noticed that sometimes messages come through part of a thread, and sometime not. In my mail client (MacMail) I have three separate threads, all called ‘Bigger is better, and Vistavision’, and all part of the larger single discussion. For some reason MacMail splits them up. The only thing I can think of is that some posts have come by different means of Replying.

I’ve just checked and the system is still set to force replies to the group as a whole.
