Multi-Camera "Live" Project with iPhone 13?
As part of an upcoming, in-person, panel discussion that I’m co-producing, I’m looking for someone that has done, or is about to do, a multi-camera live (or live to tape) production using iPhone 13’s or a mix of iPhone 13’s and other cine or broadcast cameras. You would discuss the challenges, solutions, techniques and workflow options that were used and why those creative choices were made. If you created “special sauce” workflows that you’d like to remain your secret that is fine, the goal is talk about general techniques and workflows for future projects with the audience. The event would be on Monday February 21st in the Palm Springs area of California and if you’re not available in-person at that time or location I don’t want to waste your time as doing this virtually isn’t an option. It’s for a non-profit industry organization so any travel expenses would be on your own, however you would be comp’d entrance registration for the day at the event, an $895 value. Please reply off list to me at mchiolis@... if you’ve done this and are interested in speaking at this upcoming event.

Sync of the footage is a big challenge.
I've continued to have good success with Plural
Eyes, which has been bought by Maxon. I think you can still get it
without the entire Red Giant suite.

I've moved most of my editing to DaVinci Resolve. I find that the Clip - Auto Align Clips - Based on Waveform command works well, but only if the clips are fairly close to alignment to begin with. A good, old fashioned slate (a clapper) will help a lot! Color matching is another issue, I haven't had to wrestle with that. I don't think there's a 10 bit CODEC, is there (to provide more room for manipulation in post)? R --

Mark is looking for someone to speak about the methodology at an
event on 2/21 near Palm Springs, not for help on how to do it.
