I love these guys, but the lenses are just old Helios and Russian lenses (some of them from Zeiss factory in East Berlin - all the rejects, give to Eastern Europe during communism).

I have purchased from them custom painted Helios lens with a transparent string inside for those yellow stringy flares, its ingenious.

One issue -  although focus and housing is really smooth the screwed-in Helios mount can play up with a canon adapter they fit it in.

Anyhow all of those lenses are completely different - a bit like Kowa anamorphic - you can also get them for much cheaper in Poland and Russia (20 dollars) but I actually really like the customisation the guys provided me with - and I think its well worth the 100 dollars I paid. Distance scale and everything is perfectly lined up.

My first ever camera (Zenit) had one of those lenses and for me is a trip by memory lane.

They guys based in Ukraine are very up for a challenge, and very quick with email response.

My friend is just buying their Jupiter etc PL mounted set for 1200 dollars as he loves those lenses to shoot his shorts on Alexa - will have some more details once he does.

If you need some examples of Helios lens photos & focus fall out & bookeh you can find them here - https://instagram.com/p/BVe7r3BB7QA/
Thats my gaffer page who uses one of those for all his film photography.

I have some video examples but they are mostly my holiday videos of the Iron glass helios lens on a 5Dm3 - here is a few stills from a video (25p, ungraded, HD)

I've got one of their PL mount t3.5 50mm lenses.  Extremely well made for the price.  It's not much longer than a port cap and will allow the camera into some extremely tight spaces.

Just an aside. Sigma reports there are now 2,000 different Lens/Camera adapters. There are now more and more Smart ones, ie. maintain AF and Iris control using say Canon EF lenses on a FujiFilm X-H1.
