Can confirm the LAB trick - I’ve used that a bit before. Great for playing with saturation without skin tones going crazy. Thanks for tip on LUTCalc, looks like a very handy little tool.

Unfortunately it seems that Sony is somewhat opaque when it comes to any API for XAVC, so I don't believe Resolve has any such access to reading metadata from the files. As far as I know, Catalyst programs like Browse or Prepare provide the only way to read the metadata.

Last time I tried it Resolve was able to read it fine.  Click on a clip and go to Inspector and make sure it is showing everything.
