Thanks Alfonso.

Lovely images and really interesting to see what the camera can do.  And thanks for making it downloadable so we can watch it without buffering and with “less" artefacts.

I don’t suppose you took any meter readings?  Be interesting to know what you were getting on the scenes where you can see deep inside the market stalls.

Hi Michel, yes, I use my sopt meter to read some values, for example, those shot in the market completely dark, it is exposed to the sky and the range in the shadows is between -4 and -7 stops. The face of the man is about -6 stop and the sky at +4

Some very pretty footage, and really nice flesh tone rendition through a broad range of people. The colors in the market were gorgeous.

But how did you get the bird to fly perfectly through frame on cue in the opening shot? ;-)

Nicely done, Alfonso.

Thanks Bob,

Just luck, being in the right place at the right time.

Effectively, what I liked most about the camera is how it reproduces skin tones, full of nuances of color and texture.
And skin tones are very consistent in both the light and shadow areas of the face.

Apologies, speaking to my iPhone the initial “Not” in my previous post was omitted by Siri.  And the signature.  I must have annoyed her.

Alfonso,

Thanks for posting your lovely footage. The market with it's colors and all those wonderful faces, was stunning.

It was really great to see how the camera handles different skin tones in various real life scenarios with natural light. The camera seems to handle extreme contrast quite well: the two women on the balcony with the dappled sunlight, walking through the rooms and balcony and the market at sunset/deep shadows, people's skin looked really good.

The sun, at sunset seemed to hold more highlight and color detail.

Best,

-Mark Sasahara, DP, NYC
