We had great support from all the manufacturers with the usual exception.

Sam Measure of CVP saved our arses when we couldn’t source some cameras

Christian Pedersen of MAAN in Copenhagen deserves a special mention for getting a Monstro to us.

Sergejs Bozoks assisted as he has for all the camera tests in recent years, actually he does the tests, I just sit there and bullshit.

Jose del C Martinez gaffered and generally made sure that I paid attention

Dave Neal of UWE did his usual great job of holding everything together and his daughter Grace provided the face for the skin tone tests.

We had 3 students with us and so far only Nirmala Valinciute has sent me her details, unfortunately she wants to be a producer instead of having a real job in the camera department where she would be very good 😊

Usual issues of file and disk formats, Canon saved us from the Hell of getting a Codex reader to work, yeah yeah a DIT would have helped but c’mon every other system worked fine, so Canon read and transferred both their rushes and those from the Varicam Pure.

Currently dealing with EXfat disks which should read on my Windows system that’s what they were formatted on, but my Mac has altered the file structure and Windows won’t read the disks, neither will MacDrive on Windows so I’m now copying all the files on my Mac from the ExFat drive to a Mac formatted drive which my Windows machine will happily read.

Kodak are going to FTP the 500GB or so of rushes to me next week.

We didn’t do all the tests I wanted to do, we got distracted as we discovered things about the cameras.

The first thing I’ll do, about a week from now, is post a collection of stills of Grace, every camera in both lighting setups.

Be prepared for some shocks!

I apologise if I’ve forgotten anyone, I got home at midnight after train delays and I’m not really awake yet.
