Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve Resolution Limit

Does anyone have any experience with editing high resolution projects (16K and higher) in Resolve and what the actual limit may be (assuming any existing hardware)?
I’m aware Blackmagic Design is claiming that DaVinci Resolve supports resolutions up to 32K, but is this really the case? What is the largest project resolution you have successfully edited with Resolve and on what hardware?
Any advice appreciated.

I have used Resolve within the workflow to produce 32K by 17K.content. Most recently 20K by 8.5K for a project in NYC.
Just not as straight forward as you'd think from that single line. I haven't attempted anything beyond 80K, but it's doable. Likely higher since I did that test a few years ago.
The variables tied to playback and display are an enjoyable challenge until they aren't as well. I don't know if I'd use Resolve purely for this work for a variety of practical reasons. But then again it depends on the material and workflow when it comes
down to it.

Thanks, Phil. So, to understand this correctly, did you manage to create this in single 32K x 17K timeline, or did you have to subdivide it into smaller windows? Are you able to provide any more details on your workflow?
