Compression generally, was BRAW

Geoff Boyle

It’s not helpful talking about compression for delivery.

We’re talking about camera originals where we want the best we can get before it gets destroyed down the line.

When it comes to delivery formats we need to consider the many layers of distribution and compression.

Concatenation is a very useful word here 😊 read the Quantel digital imaging guide.

Keith Putnam

Is this the 2008 version or the 2015 version? "20th Anniversary" suggests that it's the 2008 iteration.

It seems the 2015 version is on-line only, I am however unable to access it: Quantel digital fact book
